Athena is pleased to announce that we are a proud sponsor of the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s upcoming exhibition, Mary Cassatt at Work. Born in Pennsylvania and a student at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Cassatt was a celebrated member of the French Impressionists.

“I am delighted to announce that Athena is proudly sponsoring this spring’s Cassatt exhibition at the Philadelphia Museum of Art,” says Wilkinson, CEO of Athena, a Philadelphia-based marketing consultancy that works with clients such as Comcast, NFL, Subaru, Hitachi and Liberty Latin America.

“Athena has been very intentional about partnering with organizations that reflect our community mindset. We are thrilled to have our headquarters in a city with one of the finest art collections in the world and are excited by the new direction that the Art Museum’s leadership is taking to bring art to all of Philadelphia.”

– Maggy Wilkinson, CEO of Athena Global Advisors

Wilkinson sits on the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Corporate Executive Board and Athena is a member of the museum’s Corporate Partners program.

“Mary Cassatt, a local luminary, holds a special place in my heart. She was regarded by many as a democratizing force in Western art because, as a woman, she stood on equal footing with her Impressionist peers. Her roots in this region make celebrating her art even more poignant. This exhibition is unique in that it gives us an opportunity to observe her creation process, which I find fascinating. We hope that all Philadelphians and visitors from around the world will make sure this exhibition is part of their summer plans in the city.”

– Maggy Wilkinson, CEO of Athena Global Advisors

Mary Cassatt at Work runs May 18 – September 8 and features 130 diverse works, many from the museum’s significant Cassatt holdings.
