“People are at the heart of every great idea – giving them the opportunity to perform at their creative best is what we strive to do every day.”

Maggy Wilkinson is the Chief Executive Officer of Athena Global Advisors, a professional services company that specializes in program management, data-driven strategy and strategic marketing and communications. Founded in 2013 by Wilkinson, Athena services an expansive portfolio of clients in media, telecommunications, professional sports, fashion, healthcare and hospitality. By leveraging diverse talent and expertise, Athena devises strategies, crafts campaigns, activates experiences and optimizes operations to strengthen brands, improve perceptions and shape narratives. Athena is headquartered in Philadelphia.

Wilkinson founded Athena with a mission to be a force for positive change. Whether it is spearheading Huddle for 100, one of the National Football League’s most successful community campaigns, supporting the city of Philadelphia’s recovery during the COVID-19 pandemic with Ready.Set.Philly! or helping Liberty Latin America build a market-wide digital equity program, community is the common thread that runs through the organization’s diverse client group. Athena is also proud to have Comcast as a client and supporting many of its initiatives. Other notable work includes an engagement to organize Philadelphia’s 2026 FIFA World Cup bid.

Wilkinson has long believed in giving back to the community. Through her company, Athena and its employees have supported a variety of notable causes. Athena’s past and present corporate philanthropic work includes Castleman’s Foundation, Children’s Crisis Treatment Center, Commonwealth Youth Choir, MANNA, Mazzoni Center, National Adoption Center, National Domestic Workers Alliance, PAWS, Philabundance, Project HOME and Vetri Community Partnership. Finally, Wilkinson is a past member of the working group for the 10th principle of the United Nations Global Compact and currently sits on the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Corporate Executive Board.

Athena also has a partnership with the Eastern District of Pennsylvania’s Supervision to Aid Reentry (STAR) program and is a corporate sponsor for City Year Philadelphia. Athena is certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

Wilkinson excels at optimizing business operations, community engagement initiatives, telecommunications projects, and human capital and talent acquisition. After college, she taught Latin and Ancient Greek for four years in New York City. Her corporate career began in equity research at Merrill Lynch followed by positions at Bankers Trust, Frontier Airlines, McDATA Corporation, TeleTech, Optia Group and Forensic Risk Alliance, where she served as Chief Operating Officer during a period of explosive growth.
