Patrick Hardy Chief Creative Officer

Patrick Hardy is the Chief Creative Officer at Athena Global Advisors, where he is a member of the Executive Leadership team. He is charged with elevating Athena’s brand presence and creative reputation, in addition to Athena’s creative output for clients including Subaru, Comcast, Liberty Latin America, the NFL, and Hitachi Energy.
Before joining Athena, Patrick founded Able Creative Group, a creative consultancy that helps clients create advertising content that connects with consumers across a host of industries. Prior to that, Patrick was Chief Creative Officer at Interpublic Group’s Tierney (now Carmichael Lynch), a full-service marketing and communications agency specializing in branding, advertising, experiential, media planning and buying, public relations, and social media. Throughout his career, Patrick has been recognized for his role in leading award-winning creative teams and building respected brands such as Comcast, Xfinity, TD Bank, Verizon, Independence Blue Cross, Exelon and PECO, AmerisourceBergen, QVC, SEPTA, Visit Philly, Yuengling, Pennsylvania Lottery, and Fine Wine & Good Spirits.
Patrick’s work has been recognized by Cannes Lions, the One Club, Communication Arts, Regional and National Addy Awards, Midas Awards, and the Webby Awards, and has been featured in Adweek, Ad Age, Communications Arts, and Luerzer’s Archive Magazine. He has served as a judge for the National Addy Awards and participated on the curatorial committee of the AICP, whose work resides in the permanent collection at the MOMA.
Patrick believes in giving back to his community and has given his time and creative talents to many local organizations. He is a former member of the Board of Directors for BalletX, The Arts and Business Council of Greater Philadelphia, and the Marketing Advisory Committee of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. He was a moderator for the PA Conference for Women and has also worked closely with the Association for Public Art for several years. Patrick was also named “40 under 40” by the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Patrick and his husband Stephen split their time between homes in Philadelphia and Miami Beach.
