“People are at the heart of every great idea – giving them the opportunity to perform at their creative best is what we strive to do every day.”

Maggy Wilkinson is the Chief Executive Officer of Athena Global Advisors, a marketing consultancy with expertise in management consulting, data, strategic marketing, events, and creative services. Founded in 2013 by Wilkinson, Athena services an expansive portfolio of clients in media, telecommunications, professional sports, automotive, fashion, healthcare, and hospitality. Athena combines consultant expertise with tactical execution to deliver business insights, marketing strategies, and brand activations that transform the presence, reputation, and performance of clients. Headquartered in Philadelphia, Athena is a certified Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

Wilkinson founded Athena with a mission to be a force for positive change. Whether it is spearheading Huddle for 100, one of the National Football League’s most successful community campaigns, supporting the city of Philadelphia’s recovery during the COVID-19 pandemic with Ready.Set.Philly! or helping Liberty Latin America build a market-wide digital equity program, community is the common thread that runs through the organization’s diverse client group. Athena is also proud to support many initiatives for both Subaru and Comcast, clients who share in this mission. Other notable work includes an engagement to organize Philadelphia’s 2026 FIFA World Cup bid.

Driven by giving back to the community, Wilkinson currently sits on the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Corporate Executive Board and the City Year Philadelphia Board. Wilkinson was also a member of the working group for the 10th principle of the United Nations Global Compact. And Athena has an ongoing partnership with the Eastern District of Pennsylvania’s Supervision to Aid Reentry (STAR).

Athena and its employees have supported many notable causes. Athena’s past and present corporate philanthropic work includes Castleman’s Foundation, Children’s Crisis Treatment Center, Commonwealth Youth Choir, MANNA, Mazzoni Center, National Adoption Center, National Domestic Workers Alliance, PAWS, Philabundance, Project HOME, City Year Philadelphia, and Vetri Community Partnership.

Before Athena, Wilkinson’s corporate career began in equity research at Merrill Lynch, followed by positions at Bankers Trust, Frontier Airlines, McDATA Corporation, TeleTech, and Optia Group. She also served as Chief Operating Officer during a period of explosive growth at Forensic Risk Alliance.

“Our superpower is our ability to always remain relevant to our clients.”
