Katherine has over five years of experience working in the Marketing and Communications world, recently graduating from Temple University with her Master's in Digital Innovation in Marketing. Katherine is passionate about using logic and creativity at the same time to tell a brand's story, and it brings her joy to be a professional storyteller on behalf of brands. Prior to Athena, she worked for a civil engineering firm, helping them understand their own brand identity and display it to the world through digital media. As their Digital Marketing Communications Specialist, Katherine has served as a lead copywriter, proofreader, and editor for website content, organic and paid social media, email campaigns, and all other internal and external marketing communications. Motivated by working on projects that make a difference, Katherine loves to create work that impacts brand perception, connects communities, and strategically inspires change. She finds it rewarding to measure the real-time impact of messaging, utilizing logic, analytics, and data to inform creative communications that live at the intersection of intention, strategy, and style.

At McCormick Taylor, Katherine led the development of a Strategic Content Plan to shift the brand's perception, creating and executing content for an internal newsletter, website, blog, and social media and then measuring the campaign results.
