Jennifer Buchness is the Vice President of Human Resources at Athena Global Advisors, and a member of the Executive Leadership Team. She brings with her 20 years of experience in organizational dynamics, leadership, marketing, and campaign execution.

Before stepping into her current role, Jen served as Director of the Events and Experiences team, where she played a key role in supporting a diverse range of events and campaigns for various clients. Now, as Vice President of Human Resources, her responsibilities include developing and implementing human resource strategies aligned with overall business goals, including workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.

Prior to her time at Athena, Jen spent 12 years at the Wharton School, leading alumni engagement strategies that reached over 100,000 alumni. She also executed Wharton Global Forums in cities worldwide, showcasing her creative leadership and commitment to inclusive, professional environments.

Jen holds a B.A. in journalism from the University of Maryland and a master's degree in organizational dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania. Outside of work, she is an avid gardener and started her own micro-flower farm at her home in New Jersey.
