Daniela is a passionate media enthusiast with a keen eye for storytelling. Her journey into the world of media began early, inspired by her childhood fascination with television. Daniela has experience as a director, producer editor, videographer, sound engineer, and more. She directed and edited a short documentary titled “Ave Maria” that offers a poignant look into Philadelphia's Puerto Rican community in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. This experience reflects her dedication to using media as a force for positive change. At community media center PhillyCAM, Daniela contributed to the monthly Atrevéte broadcast, showcasing the vibrant Latinx culture and events in Philadelphia through video production and translation. In addition to her documentary work and media contributions, Daniela has called live events and performances, managing the stage, monitoring sound, and overseeing lighting cues. When not behind the scenes, she enjoys being in the audience or on the stage at a local improv club.
