Courtney joined Athena to help launch the company’s real-time social listening system. Based in our Providence Center of Excellence office, she brings with her a diverse work history, joining the team by way of the Rhode Island Attorney General’s office. While there, she worked in the state’s victim services department, where she specialized in providing clients support they needed to manage and move on from recent traumatic events. Courtney also has experience in the medical field and has served in various roles in the hospitality industry.
Courtney attended Roger Williams University in Rhode Island, where she studied criminal justice. She is also very active with the Wampanoag Tribe, a Native American tribe with rich traditions and history in southern New England. Courtney helps organize large-scale tribal events and works to promote its interests within the larger Rhode Island and Massachusetts tribal community. Courtney is active in local politics and enjoys spending her spare time with her dog and traveling to warmer climates.
