Alicia brings more than twelve years of marketing and events experience to her role as Director of Events at Athena. In her previous position at Merck, she specialized in social media strategy for the global communications team and has managed many public-facing branding events. While serving as the Director of Consumer and Events Marketing at Philadelphia magazine, she led a team that designed, planned, and executed more than seventy events annually.
Alicia also brings extensive experience in traditional and digital marketing tactics with her to Athena, as well as success in the growth and production of content on social media accounts under her direction. In addition to pharmaceuticals and publishing, she has worked in a publicity and marketing capacity with the Philadelphia Flyers and Madison Square Garden, among others.
Alicia holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Delaware in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management. She and her husband, Phil, reside in Center City Philadelphia.
