Athena was engaged by a high-profile national sporting organization and its social responsibility team to celebrate the league’s centennial year with a season-long initiative highlighting and greatly expanding on community-focused philanthropic initiatives.
As part of the lead up to this effort and to generate enthusiasm across the country, Athena developed a comprehensive league-, partner-, and fan-engagement platform. Working closely with the league, we conceived, developed, and activated a national marketing campaign. Athena provides logistical support across the program footprint—from design assistance and creation of original content to organizational and program management, social media strategy, audience engagement, and performance tracking.
Athena is spotlighting the contributions of thousands of players, coaches, fans, owners, and volunteers in philanthropic works all over the country. The plan will showcase the enhancement of community resources, such as school playgrounds, recreation centers and training camps, funding scholarships and sports programs, providing mentorship, and assisting youth in need. To ensure all proposed initiatives are aligned with the needs of the community, Athena is in the process of conducting comprehensive research and compiling findings to inform the overall plan.
